ISPA 2nd Annual Physician Associate Conference – Registration Now Open!

Navigating Challenges, Embracing Opportunities: The Future of Physician Associates in Ireland

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Physician Associate Conference hosted by the Irish Society of Physician Associates (ISPA), taking place on Saturday, 5th October 2024, at RCSI, 123 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.

This year’s theme, “Navigating Challenges, Embracing Opportunities: The Future of Physician Associates in Ireland,” will focus on the evolving role of Physician Associates (PAs) within healthcare, exploring both the challenges and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

  • Conference Time: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Registration: Opens at 8:15 AM

We invite all Physician Associate graduates, students, and faculty to join us for a day of learning, collaboration, and networking.


Call for Posters

We are also welcoming abstract submissions for poster presentations. Submissions can focus on research studies, audits, quality improvement projects, or case reports. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work and contribute to the growing body of knowledge surrounding the PA profession.

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to Friday, 27th September 2024.

Note: 6 CPD credits will be available for qualified healthcare professionals attending the conference. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

  • Images, graphs, figures, and charts NOT TO BE INCLUDED
  • Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed for consideration
  • Award will be given for the best poster
