Prof Alexander is the current RCSI PA Studies Faculty Representative to sit on the Board of Directors.
Prof Alexander assumed the role of Director of the RCSI
PA program in September 2020 and has played a vital role in advocating for the expansion of the PA profession in Ireland.
Dr Alexander has over 40 years of experience of which majority has been dedicated to PA education. She holds post-graduate training in public health and completed
doctoral research on ‘Mapping the Identity of the PA Profession.’ Serving as a Fulbright Scholar in Rwanda, they contributed to the development of the Clinical
Officer program at the University of Rwanda. Previous roles include Director of the George Washington University PA Program and Assistant Dean for
Community-Based Partnership.
