I graduated with my MSc in Physician Associate Studies from RCSI class of 2021. I started my career in women’s health back in 2021 as a physician associate in Breast surgery in the Mater Hospital.
I began working in Reproductive Medicine in 2022 and my role has evolved massively since staring my responsibilities include counselling patients on various fertility treatments, performing monitoring, baseline, assessment and pregnancy ultrasounds, completing intrauterine inseminations (IUI), endometrial biopsies and lavages while currently training in oocyte retrieval and Embryo transfer
What I enjoy the most about my role is helping couples achieve their dream of having family. Over the 2 years I have worked extensively with couples who are struggling with infertility, this has given me insight and understanding of the emotional toll infertility can have on individuals and couples. I have also gained a deep understanding of Reproductive Medicine.
I was recently elected to the ISPA board as Director at Large of Communications, my main goal in this role is to raise awareness of the Physician Associate profession while also continually drive for the establishment of regulation for all Physician Associates.
